This is the next-gen Intel chip, which will replace the Core 2 series, both Quad and Dual Core chips. No more Front Side Bus, and the chips come with Intel-approved overclocking ability - go figure! Talk about a change of heart from Intel!! The chip is actually MUCH more similar to an AMD Phenom Quad than an Intel Quad Core 2. Go figure!
