My BitTorrent traffic has been slow lately. I found out that Comcast is throttling the bandwith for bitorrent clients! Downloading openoffice.org on bitTorrent vs. a single server is like night and day. It can be used for legitimate purposes. Shame on Comcast! However, a quick fix allows you to encrypt your connections so it is harder for them to track bitTorrent traffic.
